The nearby drag lift is less than 50 metres away and provides quick access to the main St Martin gondola and the Three Valleys beyond.

It’s the sort of space that works equally well for a leisurely breakfast before skiing or a relaxed evening together after exploring the mountain. Doors lead onto the covered balcony, where you can enjoy views across the village and surrounding peaks while making the most of the afternoon sunshine. The apartment offers one double room and one twin room, with the option of accommodating a fifth guest on the sofa bed in the lounge if required. The recently renovated shared bathroom, separate WC and practical layout make it well suited to friends sharing. A private ski locker, fireplace, Smart TV, Wi-Fi and board games all add to the feeling that this is somewhere designed to be enjoyed rather than simply slept in.

One thing worth mentioning is that Violette sits above the popular Pourquoi Pas pub, where live music is held on selected evenings during the season. If you enjoy being in the heart of the village atmosphere, it’s a fantastic location. Join the pub quiz on Tuesdays, listen to some great singers on Sundays and Thursdays, or if you prefer cosy nights in, simply close the bedroom shutters to help reduce any noise later in the evening.
