Hi, I’m Laura.

I’ve been creating ski chalet holidays and looking after guests in the French Alps for more than 20 years. I’ve lived and worked in the mountains since 2003, owned and operated my own chalet and hotel business, managed large chalet operations for leading tour operators and welcomed thousands of guests to resorts including Val d’Isère, Tignes, Les Arcs, La Plagne, Méribel, Morzine, La Rosière, Sainte Foy and Les Menuires.

That experience has taught me that finding the right ski holiday isn’t simply about choosing a beautiful chalet. The resort, location, skiing, layout, service and the people running the property all matter and what’s right for one group may be completely wrong for another.

That’s why I created LDC Ski: to offer the knowledge and personal service I’d want if I were booking a chalet holiday myself.

More Than Just Booking a Chalet
Every chalet on LDC Ski is personally selected and I only work with owners and operators I know and trust or have carefully vetted. Rather than presenting you with hundreds of properties and leaving you to work out the differences, I’ll listen to what matters to your group and recommend the chalets and resorts I believe genuinely suit you. That might be a catered chalet where everything is taken care of, a self-catered property that gives you complete independence, somewhere within metres of the lifts, or a characterful chalet in a quieter Alpine village. Sometimes the right choice isn’t the most expensive chalet or the most famous resort; it’s the one that works for the way you want to spend your week. I’ll remain your point of contact throughout, liaising with the chalet operator and helping with the details before you travel. And when geography allows, I may even meet you in resort for that Aperol!

Ski Trip Planning Made Easy
Finding the chalet is only part of planning a ski holiday. I can also recommend trusted partners for airport transfers, ski equipment, ski school, childcare, private chefs and catering, as well as helping with lift passes, activities and restaurant recommendations. Having these details organised before you travel means less time researching different suppliers and more confidence that the people looking after each part of your holiday are people I am happy to recommend.

Perfect for Families and Groups
Chalet holidays work brilliantly for families and groups because they give you something a hotel rarely can: your own space to eat, relax and spend time together. They’re particularly well suited to multi-generational families, something I understand well from years of looking after groups travelling with everyone from babies and teenagers to grandparents. But there is no single formula for the perfect ski holiday. Keen skiers may prioritise getting onto the mountain quickly; families with young children may care far more about the walk to ski school; a group celebrating a special occasion might want exceptional food, a private spa and plenty of space. My job is to understand those priorities before recommending where you should stay.

Independent Advice. No Extra Cost.
One of the biggest advantages of working with me is that there is no additional cost. You’ll never pay more than if you booked directly with the chalet owner or operator. My role is to help you find the best available option for your requirements, budget and travel plans. You benefit from my time, first-hand knowledge of the French Alps, industry relationships and personal recommendations without spending hours searching online, comparing chalets and trying to work out which one really suits your group.
