Set in the peaceful hamlet of Villarabout, just above St Martin de Belleville, Chalet Aralia enjoys wonderful views across the village, meadows and surrounding mountains. Inside, natural wood, textured fabrics and soft neutral colours give the chalet a contemporary Alpine feel, while the striking open-plan living room makes the biggest impression. Its double-height windows showcase the mountain scenery, with generous seating gathered around a glass-fronted log fire.

The living space flows into the dining area, where your catered meals are served, with an informal open kitchen alongside and dramatic overhead lighting adding a distinctive touch. Step outside onto the terrace and the views stretch up the Belleville Valley. The outdoor hot tub is perfectly positioned for enjoying the scenery and catching the evening sun. A wood-lined sauna and shower downstairs provide another place to relax, while the chalet also has a spacious ski room with ski racks and heated boot warmers.

Sleeping eight adults and two children, Chalet Aralia has four ensuite bedrooms together with a fifth bunk room adjoining one of the bedrooms to form a family suite. The remaining rooms offer a combination of super-king, king and double beds, including one that can be arranged as either a super-king or twins. It is a particularly good size for a group of family or friends, with plenty of space to spend time together without the scale of a much larger chalet.

Villarabout offers a quieter setting above St Martin de Belleville while keeping the village within easy reach. The centre and main gondola are just a few minutes away and once on the mountain, St Martin connects directly into the Three Valleys and more than 600 kilometres of linked skiing across Méribel, Courchevel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens.
