Chalet Pasarale has a stylish, contemporary interior, but the room that really defines the chalet is the large open-plan living and dining space. A substantial stone fireplace sits at its centre, surrounded by deep sofas and bespoke furnishings, while recently enlarged windows bring more of the mountain views into the room. It feels polished without being overly formal, somewhere you’ll be very happy settling into for afternoon tea while the fire is burning.

The chalet has recently been refreshed with new carpets, furnishings and paintwork alongside those larger windows and has been awarded the prestigious Label Méribel, recognising the quality of its accommodation. Five ensuite bedrooms sleep ten, with a mixture of king, double and twin rooms that works equally well for families or a group of friends.

The location, though, is what makes Pasarale particularly easy to recommend. Walk just 50 metres to the edge of the piste and you can put your skis on and descend directly to La Chaudanne, Méribel’s main lift hub. From here you can head towards Courchevel in one direction or the Belleville Valley in the other, putting the whole Three Valleys within easy reach.

Méribel centre is only a few minutes away on foot too, so restaurants, bars and shops don’t require a bus or taxi when you want to head out. It’s a rare combination in Méribel: a proper catered chalet with its own character, very close to the skiing and close enough to the centre to enjoy the resort without relying on transport.
