Chalet Aralia is located in Villarabout, a small hamlet just above St Martin de Belleville, with wide views across the village, meadows and surrounding mountains. Its contemporary Alpine interior uses soft neutral tones, natural wood and textured fabrics, but it is the open-plan living room that immediately catches the eye. Double-height windows rise beside the large seating area, drawing the mountain scenery into the room, while a glass-fronted log fire adds warmth to the clean, modern design.

The living area leads through to the dining space and an informal open kitchen, with dramatic lighting adding character overhead. Outside, the terrace faces up the Belleville Valley, with an outdoor hot tub positioned to make the most of the view and the evening sun. Downstairs there is a wood-lined sauna with its own shower, along with a spacious ski room, ski racks and heated boot warmers.

Chalet Aralia sleeps eight adults and two children. Four ensuite bedrooms provide the main accommodation, with a fifth bunk room adjoining one of the bedrooms to create a family suite. The other bedrooms offer a mixture of super-king, king and double beds, including one that can be configured as either a super king or twins. Chalet Aralia has enough space and facilities to feel special without becoming an enormous chalet.

Chalet Aralia is in a delightfully tranquil setting in Villarabout above St Martin de Belleville without putting the village out of reach. The centre and main gondola are only a few minutes away and from St Martin de Belleville you have direct access into the Three Valleys, with more than 600 kilometres of linked skiing stretching across Méribel, Courchevel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens.
